Mission for the Missing

LOL, that was supposed to be Mission for the Missing.

The Chicago Sun- Times did a great article on the missing in Chicago. They have quite a few who go missing each year and a number of those are never seen again. They have a few who have become high profile cases, but many do not get anywhere near the same publicity.

SS made the suggestion that media should ask property owners to check their own properties to check for any signs that the missing might be on that property. Personally I think that is a great idea. Not just for Lisa and Stacy, but for all the missing.

The goal is to locate the missing in Chicago. Suggestions to offer that media can do is to coordinate with each other and set a date. The can publicize the fact that rewards are available in some of the cases. They can tell what a property owner should be looking for ie checking containers, looking for depressions or mounds on the property, burn sites, etc.

I have collected a number of contact pages for Illinois media, some maybe outside of Chicago but IMO the larger the area searched, the better.

If anyone is posting in the Lisa Stebic forum or on the SP website you may want to pass the mission idea along.
