I don't see how this even pertains to Stacy Peterson.

No offense, but it deserves it's own thread in the Missing Persons forum, not the Stacy Peterson one IMHO.

I think martin is posting that here because of the body that was found and it being said it was not stacy. So posting it here where the disscussion is going on about the body found.Have seen other people posting about who it could be in the other thread also.Martin was just trying to help is all. :)

Welll, for that matter perhaps a total of 50 NEW forums, one for EACH state in America showing PEOPLE that went missing from that particular state.

We could then double check surrounding states and current active cases to tie in SOMETHING that could solve SOMETHING SOMEWHERE.

Betcha LE is not doing all of that!

THEY/LE probably punch in stats from their narrow view of thingies, one officer at a time. WE could have many many eyes putting things together IF IF IF we had total state forums here that would be reader friendly, quick and easy.

We could also have more server crashes too, er huh, hellllllllllllp me Rhonda. Sing along.

We cannot keep up with all the stuff we have going anyway. Our work here is still pretty much back and forth with chat included. Many bright eyes here cannot keep up with facts as it is, with so much chat going on also.

DOING what I offer would totally change the complexion of the olde WS that I knew and loved.

As I recall, the last time a body was found which potentially could have been Stacy...we locked horns a bit over all the missing women from the area. I think it is a good idea since this is the second time a body has turned up leaving us wondering. It gives us others to compare to next time.

With all due respect, most of these missing women disappeared in the 1990's, with the most recent one in 2002. In all likelihood, after all this time their remains would be skeletal.

The body found in a Chicago suburb last Thursday apparently was more than just a skeleton, with hair intact and enough to determine that it was a white female who had been stabbed to death. I don't think the body found last Thursday will be any of these women.

Leila, I was thinking the same thing. These women have all been missing for far too long for it to be one of them.

I would suggest that we put at least a link for info on other missing Illinois women, on this thread, EVEN IF there is a forum for the missing person.

Our thinking should have a BROAD reach. Never know who might read here but not be aware of OTHER missing persons in Illinois and who they might be.

IMOP, it should be the responsibility of the thread starter to insert NEW information in the initial #1 thread starter post, about new or old missing persons in Illinois, in this case Illinois.

I was happy to see this new thread, BUT would have been happier to see it posted in perhaps Crimes in the News, under the same heading or similar, such as:

"Illinois Missing Persons". Perhaps with no comments, but LE contact info and lists of missing persons in the state of Illinois.

OR OR an entirely NEW Forum for -> "Missing Persons By State".

Huh, er???
