Details of Disappearance
Miera was last seen on January 10, 1970 in Dixon, New Mexico. His mother was hospitalized overnight the day he disappeared; she was released the following day. Miera has never been heard from again and is missing under unknown circumstances. There were reports that he was taken by a couple who lived in a bus, but few details are available in his case.
Dixon is situated in a rural area between Espanola and Taos in northern New Mexico.
