WV - Mary Jo Brown, 59, Huntington, 1 Nov 2007
16 Feb 08
A 59-year-old Huntington woman was reported missing by her family members Thursday, according to a Huntington Police report.
The woman was identified as Mary Jo Brown. She has been missing since October 2007, said the report.
The report stated that no one has seen or heard from Brown and all of her family and friends have been contacted.
Brown's husband stated to a relative that she left with a female friend in October. However, the relative said her luggage was still in her room and the sheets on her bed were gone but a blanket was on it, the report said.
Huntington Police Det. Cass McMillian is investigating the incident as a missing person case.

From February 2009:
Wayne Brown entered a Kennedy plea to second-degree murder, which public defender Paul Jordan said allows a defendant to admit guilt without offering any description or reason for his actions.
Wayne Brown waived his right to a pre-sentence investigation, and Circuit Judge Dan O'Hanlon sentenced him to 30 years in prison. He must serve 10 years before being eligible for parole.
