Ah, how awful and evil. Unbelievable.

Rest in Peace, Ms Janie Hamm.

A Port Deposit woman faces 30 years behind bars after she pleaded guilty Friday to strangling her mother during a prescription drug- and alcohol-induced blackout...

After confessing, Hamm led police to her mother’s body which lay covered with leaves in the slightly wooded area within sight of their trailer where Hamm had dragged it in a sheet, Halter said.

Investigators also learned that Hamm had made her mother fear for her life several weeks before the murder, police added. A Jan. 9 entry from Janie Hamm’s diary reflected that her daughter had tried to strangle her about a month prior to the murder, Halter said, adding Janie Hamm had told her family, “I’m afraid (Tina Hamm) is going to kill me someday,” Halter said.
