    Tourists missing in Outback

Two Japanese men and a French woman are missing in the outback of central Australia after setting off on two separate treks.
An air and ground search is now underway for the three tourists, police said.
On Tuesday night, the Japanese tourists failed to arrive from the Valley of the Winds walk at The Olgas..

A helicopter also is being used in the search for a 22-year-old French woman who set out on a walk at Kings Canyon on Sunday,

The Outback is not a very good place to go missing..I hope they have lots and lots of water with them.

OK, Dingo, and others, didn't REALLY wanna ASK but how often do you guys see "Wolf Creek" scenarios and also "dingo attacks" as in the Chamberlin case and etc....
I hope I am NOT being rude...really don't mean too!!!!

Of course youre not being rude WR .
Dingo attacks are very common on Frazer Island and there have been two deaths from dingo attacks in Australia......interference from humans is a lot to blame..I found you an interesting link.

Wolf Creek is based loosly on real stories.
First we have our Backpacker killer..dear old Ivan.

Then we have the Peter Falcanio/Joanna lees story...for some reason Joanne lees is not very likable and even less believable.Imo.

Geez, how scary. I would imagine that people not familiar with the terrain would be in trouble...fast. It's like the people that went missing in Death Valley, CA. Like you said, Dingo, hopefully they have lots of water and makeshift shelters.
