Police need your help in locating a missing person.

The Owen County Sheriff's Department tells News 10 that 83-year-old Samuel Franklin was last seen at his home in northwestern Owen County, Indiana last Wednesday.

Franklin is described as an 83-year-old white male, who is 5'8", weighing 200 lbs. with brown and grey hair and blue eyes. Police say he may be in a dark green, 4-door Chevrolet Malibu.. with Indiana license plate number 60b4643.

Eighty-three-year-old Samuel Franklin vanished February 20th. He was last seen at him home in Owen County. His family is pleading for help from the Wabash Valley, and urging anyone who knows anything to call the Owen County Sheriff's Department.

Sunday afternoon, officials from the Department of Natural Resources did a sonar scan of the pond on Franklin's property. The driveway of Franklin's residence runs right alongside the water's edge. That scan turned up empty.

Franklin's granddaughter, Terrie Baker, told News 10 she feels someone out there knows what happened and they should come forward. "The more people that know the better. I mean if it is foul play most people can't keep their mouth shut anyway. I mean, a tip, a lead, something!" Baker said.

Franklin is about 5'8" and weighs around 200 lbs. He has brown and grey hair and blue eyes.
