Parts of missing man found in two counties
Ennis police and the Freestone County Sheriff's Department were investigating who dumped the body parts of a 42-year-old man in two North Texas lakes.
George Lee Frazier, 42, of Ennis, was last seen by his wife as he left home to visit a friend the evening of Feb. 17, Ennis police said. She later reported him missing.
"He didn't contact any of his family through all of it," said Detective Sgt. Mike Hopson "He was real faithful about talking with his family."
Police began to investigate the possiblity of foul play, but never found any leads as to Frazier's whereabouts.
On March 1, boaters discovered a leg that washed up on the shores of Bardwell Lake outside of Ennis, police said.
On April 5, a man working in his yard near the Freestone county side of Richland Chambers Lake found a man's head and torso that had washed ashore.
The body parts have since been identified as belonging to Frazier.
