WICHITA, Kan. — Deputies say a woman in western Kansas became stuck on her boyfriend's toilet after sitting on it for two years.

Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple said it appeared the 35-year-old Ness City woman's skin had grown around the seat. She initially refused emergency medical services but was finally convinced by responders and her boyfriend that she needed to be checked out at a hospital.

"We pried the toilet seat off with a pry bar and the seat went with her to the hospital," Whipple said. "The hospital removed it."

I would have at least asked for books, magazines and bubble bath!
 
I'm sorry, I can't help but laugh. Why in the world would someone sit on a toilet for 2 years???
 
ok ladies and gents. Not to get to graphic here but you have any clue what that kind of strain does on your sphincter muscle?

Now I might believe stuck to her computer chair. I have almost done that a few times, but the potty????:confused:
 
Was she one of the extremely obese people? I wonder if the couple had more than one restroom or what the boyfriend used. How yucky. I guess the toilet wasn't even cleaned for two years either unless she stood up with the seat grown into her skin.
 
and I guess she never got up to clean it, I bet that was one funky toilet.

Did she not have a bath in 2 years!!!

WICHITA, Kan. -- Authorities are considering charges in the bizarre case of a woman who sat on her boyfriend's toilet for two years -- so long that her body was stuck to the seat by the time the boyfriend finally called police.

Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple said it appeared the 35-year-old Ness City woman's skin had grown around the seat. She initially refused emergency medical services but was finally convinced by responders and her boyfriend that she needed to be checked out at a hospital.

"We pried the toilet seat off with a pry bar and the seat went with her to the hospital," Whipple said. "The hospital removed it."

Whipple said investigators planned to present their report Wednesday to the county attorney, who will determine whether any charges should be filed against the woman's 36-year-old boyfriend.

"She was not glued. She was not tied. She was just physically stuck by her body," Whipple said. "It is hard to imagine. ... I still have a hard time imagining it myself."

I don't get it. She could have gotten off the toilet, but didn't want to?

what's eating gilbert grape came to mind. I used to set up ancillary services for work comp. Like MRI, Transportation and translation, HME and DME and Electrotherapy. We would on occasion get people who were so large they couldn't fit in standard MRI or Standing MRI machines. We would have to send them to the zoo. That alone is humiliating. I can not fathom what was going on in this womans mind when they had a crow bar to her bare butt.

Nothing pleasant comes to mind here.
 
Yeah, I don't think it's a crime yet to leave your girlfriend in the bathroom for 2 yrs. LOL
