Gov. Chris Gregoire signed a bill sponsored by Sen. Don Benton, R-Vancouver, that makes crimes committed in other states count toward Washington's three-strike law.

While I am glad it is helping in this case, I am not a big fan of the 3 strikes law in general.

Is Washington just getting up to speed with the other states or is Washington setting a precedent with the loophole? I think this is great!
