The Kansas City, Mo., Police Department is asking for help finding a man and woman missing for about a month.

Police said Jonnie M. Rogers, 43, and Steven L. Turner, 48, have not contacted their families since February.

The families told police that they suspect foul play. The home where Rogers and Turner were staying, in the 5600 block of College Boulevard, was destroyed by arson on Feb. 13, which is about the time the families lost contact with the pair.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. Three bodies were discovered Saturday along a river where city cleanup crews were working.

I've been looking for possible ID's and every one I come across are several years old. They could be recent and haven't been reported yet. The three missing women came to mind. Streeter, Levitt and McCall.http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/617dfmo.html

I've been looking for possible ID's and all the cases I'm finding are older. The three missing women, Streeter, McCall and Levitt come to mind. Springfield is about 100 miles away though. http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/617dfmo.html

It could be these were so recent the people haven't been reported missing yet.

Three people just recently wiped out then. How awful. Surely, someone is missing them, but may not have made the MP reports yet. Sounds like a dump site for a killer and it makes me wonder if they were all killed at the same time.

My first thought went to Kara, of course.

So are you thinking murder/suicide scenario or homicide of all three people?

It is troubling they are missing after their house goes up in flames and he was gone four days before the fire (no mention of the woman and if she stayed behind at that time).

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) -- A man who confessed to nine murders in four states, and pleaded guilty last week to five of them, eluded detection for years by luck, not skill or planning, his confession suggests.
Police said they expected to learn how Timothy Krajcir studied his victims, planned his attacks and eluded detection for nearly three decades.
But in his taped confession in December, he told police he hid his identity by wearing gloves and a blue bandanna, selected his victims at random, decided where to enter on the spur of the moment, and did nothing to quiet the screams of his victims or gunshots he fired.
"When you think of the heinousness of his crimes, you'd expect more in a confession," said Cape Girardeau detective Jim Smith. "He was just a predator."
His luck ran out last year when Carbondale police Lt. Paul Echols resubmitted evidence from the murder of college student Deborah Sheppard for DNA testing. Results pointed to Krajcir.
Carbondale's success sparked Smith to compare DNA evidence from several murders there. It matched, too.

I think Krajcir has been incarcerated too long to be connected to these bodies. There's been a discussion going on at the below link as well with some possibilities posted.

Kara was my first thought as well.

However, being that there were also two male bodies, I am hopeful it's not Kara. No real logic behind that, it's just the way I'm choosing to see it right now.

How strange. This article says not badly decomposed, but all the other articles I've read say they were in an advanced state of decomp.

It is possible they were not all killed at the same time and there are various degrees of decomp of the bodies.
