Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male. Brown hair, brown eyes. Pringle may have scars on his left elbow, above his left eye, and on his left calf.
Clothing/Jewelry Description: An army jacket, pants, shoes, and a handkerchief tied around his head.
Details of Disappearance
Pringle resided in Medford, Oregon in 1977 but traveled to California in April of that year, and some friends saw him in Los Angeles. He was last seen in Gardena, California on April 19. He carrying a suitcase and a brown and green wool blanket at the time of his disappearance.
Pringle's mother reported him missing. A friend of his traveled from Nevada to Medford after apparently spending all of Pringle's money. He subsequently left Oregon during the investigation into Pringle's disappearance. Investigators believe the individual was involved in Pringle's disappearance, but he has not been charged for lack of evidence. Pringle's case remains unsolved.
