These make me smile! I just LOVE the pics of earth at night that show all the city lights and roadways. They start about halfway through this slideshow of pics by Astronaut Sunita Williams. I hope you enjoy them!

Don't want to burst bubbles, but most of those aren't real shots... just graphics. But the compiled graphics ARE beautiful...

Wow...did you notice that picture (on the NASA site that Elphaba gave us) of New York City?

Especially if you click on the link for High Resolution. You might also place your cursor over the center of the picture and zoom in.

That's smoke from the twin towers on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001.
