GPS system to track truant students

A new system is being put into place in Dallas to track truant students everywhere they go. I guess they are having to put too many of them and their parents in jail, so this is another option.

Omgosh, we can stick ankle monitors on high school kids for truancy, but we can't do it to RSO's?

I guess if I had a kid that was out of control and was skipping class, I might be frustrated enough to consider having this done. There's still something about it that bugs me though.

I think this is a great idea. Although I would have hated it at the time it would have helped me back in my ornery days

kinda scary, I don't like the idea of the government tracking anyone other than criminals, heck, even "onstar" freaks me out.

I may be a tad to paranoid.
