Less than three hours after Maynard De La Cruz's clubs were stolen, they were for sale. A post on the website Craigslist.org described Maynard's clubs very closely, asking for a price that was a mere fraction of what he paid for them.
Acting as though he was interested in buying the clubs, he arranged to set up a meeting with the seller at the Emerald Lakes Golf Course.
