"A few punches, three or four punches were exchanged. All of a sudden, there's like 75 natives show up at the house with machetes," said Joe Cones. "They captured them in the house and kept them captive about 10 or 12 hours and came in and beat them from time to time and stuff like this."

The Cones family said more people showed up, surrounded the house, held the two hostage and demanded $8,000.
This happened near the Mentawai Islands, about 75 miles off the coast of Jakarta, Indonesia. A Somali under-cover cop rescued them when they were allowed to go with their captors to a town to get ransome money.
