My guess would be drug related. Sad that six children had to witness it and now have possibly lost their mother or mothers. :( I hope the older children can tell them everything they need to solve this case quickly.

Police have arrested the husband of one of the two women who were shot to death early Sunday in a DeKalb County home.

Demetrius Russell, 34, was picked up by investigators around 1 p.m. Sunday on Moreland Avenue in DeKalb, said Mekka Parish, a DeKalb police spokeswoman.

By early evening, police had charged him with two counts of murder, though his motive remains unclear.

Russell was separated from Victoria Renfroe, 24, Parish said. She was living at the home on Eastwood Drive, where the slayings occurred, with Andrea Smith, 27.

...police had been called to the home in the past for domestic disputes.

Russell was separated from Renfro; she wanted to divorce him... Smith just happened to be at the house at the wrong time, prosecutors said.

Last month, a jury found Russell guilty of two counts of murder, two counts of felony murder, two county of aggravated assault and third-degree cruelty to children.
