    Madonna and Guy Ritchie split

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...read-8217.html

Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie are thousands of miles apart today as speculation mounts about the state of their marriage.
The 49-year-old singer was spotted in New York minus her wedding ring while film director Ritchie was holed up in London.
Sources close to the 39-year-old say that he is keen to end the marriage.
'Guy's totally relieved to be away from Madonna right now,' a source tells MailOnline.
'As far as he's concerned, they need space and time apart.'

I really hope so. I think Guy could do much better. I can't stand Madonna. I think she thinks she is all that and is just trying to be like all the other celebs going to Africa and adopting kids.

Madonna grates on my nerves too but I can think of a lot worse trends than rich people adopted starving, poverty stricken children who need homes.....

I always thought Guy was such a awesome person. Anyone who could keep Madonna interested for as long as he did had to of had something special lol.. You could tell he didn't put up with any of her foolishness and I think she needed/liked that.

It isn't bad that she adopted or is trying to help out. I just think she is doing it for the wrong reasons. I hope Guy gets custody of his kid. I don't think she is a good role model for anyone!

I'm surprised their marriage lasted as long as it did, she's always struck me as a supremely self-interested person.

K-I am on the other side of the fence on this one...the split talk has been going on for quite sometime, but I wanted her to be very happy and he seemed to be the one who made it so for her. I think she is odd, but cutting edge-it makes me very sad to think of her being alone again, especially at her age.

I like some of Madonna's music and I think she looks GREAT... I also think she thinks she is all that and many bags of chips... hehe I am surprised they lasted this long, too..

There's also a theory that this could be publicity hype for something going on of her's?? That would make more sense than a split to me.

Yeah-- maybe this relationship has been on the 'boarderline' for awhile and now the 'holiday' is over. I wonder if she will go back to being a 'material girl' and who will be the one saying 'papa dont preach cuz I'm keeping my baby " this time around ??

I know--- tacky tacky. Its all your fault Bakersprune-- you sent me sailing back in the '80's !!! LOL !!! She's got so many songs out, I could have made that paragraph much longer-- so you all can thank your 'lucky stars" it was so short !!

I agree, believe. I do get the impression she would be tough to live with, though.

You hope so? I really hate to see a marriage end that produced 2 sons. No pleasure in that for me.
