Registered sex offender, David Washburn, arrested assaults boy in bathroom
David Harry Washburn might not be able to breathe without oxygen, but he can make sexual contact with 5 year olds.
Washburn was arrested after a little 5 year old boy came out of a restroom in a Fry's Food Store. The boys mother had been waiting outside and the child told and they immediately called security.
It's a good idea to bring little kids in the ladies room with you or go in the men's room and see who is in there. Good job for this little boy telling immediately. Oh Washburn is 65 and from the looks of this mugshot needs oxygen.

Id like to take care of his O2 problem by seperating his lungs from his chest.

Sick bastard. I can tell you, without a doubt, that if this was MY child, I would have made sure to give him as much of a beatdown as possible. Most likely, a good swift kick to his nether-regions, or a serious grab it & twist it as hard as I could before police got there.
I hope his oxygen tubing mysteriously gets a kink in it, somehow. He shouldn't even breathing.

I always make my 9 year old nephew use the ladies. He hates it but I feel it's so much safer. I wait at the sinks for him. There are just too many sickos out there to risk sending a child into toilets alone.

I always did the same thing with my kids. I have a daughter and a son and I can't remember how old my son was when he started using the men's room alone. I know I stayed outside waiting (and worrying) until he got out. I remember a case a long time ago where a little boy went into the men's room and a SO molested him and mutilated him (I won't go into specifics).
I was in the DMV the other day (waiting of course) and there was a young father and little girl. She kept saying she had to go to the bathroom and I almost offered to take her, but I thought he might think I was a weirdo. Finally he took her and he took her in the men's room. While I don't think it's great for a little girl to be in the men's room I it was better than letting her go to the ladies' room by herself.

I am surprised that MOM did not go into the bathroom and beat the freak down. That would have been my first reaction and probably not the best if I was with a small child but no doubt about it, I would have bashed him in the head.
Once again, this proves to all of you out there who have "pity" for these molesters that they CANNOT be cured. They cannot be "fixed" so we have to keep them locked up forever.

It took courage for the little boy to tell his mother. I imagine the sicko warned him not to tell. I wonder how many more boys he has touched, and gotten away with it.
I simply do not believe that pedophiles can be rehabilitated, and the sooner we accept this, and punish accordingly, the safer our children will be.

I'm one who also makes my 8 year old go into the ladies room with me. There is no reason for not escorting your children to the restroom!!! Sadly i see it all the time since i work at walmart and the parents won't hold off on their shopping for 5 mins to take their kids to the bathroom. You won't cry for my absence, I know -
You forgot me long ago. Am I that unimportant...?
Am I so insignificant...? Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?

In this case I think the mom did her best. I think the guy came right after the kid. Then the little boy told. That's how I read it anyhow.
No matter it's good this little boy told immediately. I think it's working that we're teaching the kids nobody has the right to touch them. I mean 5 is young and back in the day when nobody spoke of these atrocities to kids this guy would have gotten away and then some.
Bottom line is he reoffended. What the chances of that happening?Statistically, very small.
