"Hello, I need an officer at 5 Oak Avenue," 42-year-old Joanna Hull calmly told a police dispatcher.

When the dispatcher asked why, Hull responded, "I killed my friend."

Later she said, "I've got my confession all written down."

Hull was booked into the Middletown jail early Thursday on charges of murder, tampering with evidence and gross abuse of a corpse in the death of Keith Peyton, 47. Following a court appearance Thursday, she remained in jail on $265,000 bond.

A Trenton man, found dead in the bathtub of his Oak Avenue home, and the woman charged with his killing had had a troubled relationship, said the victim's father.

Melford Peyton, a retired Middletown police officer, said the death of his son, Keith Peyton, was a shock but not really a surprise.

"After being a police officer, I know what can happen," he said Friday, Aug. 15.

I know that feeling as well, and I've never killed anybody literally but figuratively I've killed a lot of people in my head...child molesters...rapist...etc.

Police said they found Peyton's badly decomposed body in an upstairs bathroom of the couple's Trenton home.

A Butler County coroner's investigator said Peyton died of blunt force head trauma, and preliminary estimates are Peyton had been dead two to 10 days.

Uhh, there seems to some question about what she meant when she said she couldn't take it anymore.
Was it take the relationship the way it was?
Was it to live with the fact that she had murdered someone?
Was it because of the odor of the decomposing body in the house?

The dispatcher continued to question her, "when did you do it?"

Hull then said, "about a week ago."

And then Hull gave police another reason why she was finally calling police.

"I can't take the smell."

People's are just out of their minds.

Yo, I can't take alot of things and like you good posters have never killed anyone or anything save for maybe some breakables of my own.

:hand:Mizz Hull needed the hand. How about the response from Peyton's dad. Shocked but not surprised?

Was there a lot of abuse and or substance abuse going on with the two? The father, ex an cop, was not surprised.. that's an odd comment. hmm... makes you wonder.

A Trenton woman accused of killing her boyfriend and hiding his decomposing corpse in a bathtub for five days has pled guilty to murder.

42-year-old Joanna Hull entered the plea before Butler County Common Pleas Judge Michael Sage Wednesday. She was then sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for the murder.
