A SKULL believed to be of a young child has been washed up on Sydney's northern beaches.
A member of the public found the skull on Mona Vale beach at around 6.45am (AEST) on Friday morning and notified police.
Examinations by an anthropologist, pathologist and a dentist suggested the skull belonged to a young child of between four and five.
--this is so sad, my mind is busy thinking what child this could be.
