Family dog tortured/dead, taunting notes in blood

very creepy story. they need to find this person!

    http://www4.wsvn.com/news/articles/local/MI97630/

When Aguilar's mother arrived to her home on Southwest 109 Court, Monday, she found blood stains on the patio and a note scribbled on the shed saying things like "Ha, ha, ha! I had fun!" In the grass she spotted the nearly 2-year-old terrier mix's bed and, farther away, her collar. Then she would find the little dog's black and white body, on the other side of her chain-linked fence, in her neighbor's yard.

"It's like saying, 'See, there's your dog,'" said Jose Orellana, a young relative of the family. Blood was also found inside the shed, which also had a smiley face scrawled on it as well as "bow wow."

Who would do such a horrific thing to a childs pet? Whoever did this needs to be caught and soon before they move onto people.

That is awful. Poor pup. Losing a pet this way has got to be so hard. I hope they find this guy, he sounds dangerous.

You know I'm paranoid every time my kids are out of my sight. I worry about my elderly mother being alone at home and when she goes out. Now I have to worry about letting my dog out into the yard too.

It takes a really sick person to torture an innocent animal. You're right this person needs to be found before they move on to people. Isn't that the way most serial killers start? torturing and killing animals?

That looks like a child's handwriting too. Only a very sick indivual could do something like this! I have a feeling that there is a parent in the neighborhood who saw their kid come home with blood on their clothes & won't come forward. Here's a serial killer in the making!

Things like this make me so angry. I don't know about in the U.S., but here in Canada "punishments" for crimes like this are basically a slap on the wrist, that is if there are witnesses....not much time/effort is put into investigating these cases. But all too often it is the first step to murder. It's sick.

There was a case in the news near where I live recently about a friendly, non-threatening little puppy (14 weeks!) that was shot point-blank in the head in front of his family by a deranged neighbour. Some people have no soul.

I knew I shouldn't have read this one. This should be prosecuted as a hate crime. I hope they catch the person(s). There has to be fingerprints.

I hesitated reading this... I so hate these type of stories!
Any torture, harming, and/or killing of an innocent living creature is so disturbing to me!
They tortured and killed a dog, and then wrote "Ha! I had fun!" That seems close to a threat to me.
I hope this killer is found. They are a danger to that community.
My thoughts and prayers for this family.

How cruel and disturbing! I can't imagine coming home and finding my beloved pet like that, my prayers for the family. I hope they catch this sick individual ASAP - a serial killer in the making, for sure!!

My dog still has a bullet in her from where she was shot in between the eyes as a pup. The vet said the angle of entry was such that she was looking up at her shooter, which is why the bullet lodged in the base of her skull. She wasn't running toward him or away from him - but looking up and probably wagging her little tail. Some people suck.

whoever did this is a dangerous person that will absolutely commit more crimes. Absolutely horrific.

People who torture/abuse/kill animals usually end up abusing/killing people.

Our laws need to be tougher on these crimes!
