Sharon Stone Loses Joint Custody of Son Roan

I saw this on a commercial for tonight's ET, and I hadn't heard anything about it yet. I wonder why she lost custody???

It sounds like the ex, Phil Bronstein, successfully argued over her lifestyle. Sharon Stone is based in Hollywood, her ex and son live in San Francisco. If she's working, unless it's a tv series she'd be on location a lot.

What I remember from past news items was that she went to court earlier this year trying to cut the amount of child support because she didn't have a job and couldn't afford xx-thousand of dollars a month to her ex who had temporary custody.

from what I read, she didn't lose custody, she lost her case as she was applying to become primary caregiver. the judge said the child should REMAIN with the father as his home shows to be a more stable regular environment but that the 2 parents need to make decisions together such as health, schooling, etc.

That tells me he won primary custody long ago and it's not changing.

Just some thoughts:

What is sad to me is that SS still has two children with her and now her other son is not going to be raised with his siblings.
No one ever wins, especially the children.

But wait, there's more. The clerk also wrote, "Custody, visitation, holiday and vacation schedule shall remain in place as outlined on 10/4/07 order." That's the order that gave Sharon joint physical and legal custody of the kid.

Sharon's lawyer, Marty Singer, says the inconsistency is obvious -- the judge didn't take away Stone's joint custody. In other words, she still has it and the clerk just screwed up when she wrote Bronstein now has "sole physical custody." That's what Singer says, and we think he has a point.

Sharon Stone -- who did not lose custody of her son Roan -- was hangin' with her 8-year-old blondie at the Staples Center in L.A. yesterday

With all due respect, and I won't condone Botox on children except that they use it frequently in Ophthalmology, I think her comment was blown way out of proportion.

Botox has been used for excessive sweating conditions for those who suffer from it on the hands, feet, armpits...

I know someone with this condition and it's awful (hands mostly).

Maybe the kid was embarrassed? I mean, if you did have this problem and were young and had to take your shoes off at school or something, yikes.

I'm not defending her because I don't know the facts, just pointing out how the media can distort for a salacious story.
