ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony is scheduled to appear at a court hearing on Friday at which eight motions will be heard.

The hearing will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Orange County Courthouse in downtown Orlando.

Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, will seek copies of forensic evidence in connection with the investigation into the disappearance of Caylee Anthony.

Baez will also ask to have a defense expert inspect, test and photograph evidence in the state's custody, and he seeks the release of any investigations conducted by the Department of Children and Families in relation to the case.

Anthony has been charged with child neglect and obstructing a criminal investigation.

Caylee Anthony has been missing since June 15.

This is really rich! Motion to Compel the flight manifest from that tipster! Motion to allow little Ms. KC to go to places of interest! Maybe she can join us on Team Equusearch and point out where she dumped Caylee! Ridiculous!!!
 
This I found most interesting. All I can think of is you always hear about predators returning to the scene of the crime.

If he wins these motions, will that make it so those pieces of evidence are then available to us through the law that made these other document dumps privy to us?
 
There is no way most of these will be granted. I think there was talk (or were some already filed?) about JB trying to obtain evidence. On NG the lawyers said that there is no way that LE will be made to give evidence before charges have actually been filed.

It makes me wonder if they know that charges are close to being filed.

I doubt they know much of anything. The idea that LE has to unveil a close to the vest investigation is not gonna fly.

And what the heck is a place of interest.

Is that better than being a suspect place???
 
So what do you all think Baez's chance is of getting this information? If he had a right to it, wouldn't LE have given it to him? Does he have a right to all this info? It does seem like he would have a right to the DCF info since it is a neglect case and the trial is next month.

Miss Casey and Drew Peterson's lawyers must have both graduated from the same law school. When Mark Geragos is looking good in my eyes, I start getting real scared.
 
If they grant it, sounds like a new document dump for us. :woohoo:
 
I think I will stand out front of the court house with a BIG sign saying if you let Casey leave Orlando you will never see her again! Or NO Special treatment for Casey! Or What about Caylee's Rights? Or....

I could go on and on!

Could not agree more. There is no way you can compell evidence that concerns charges that have not been filed yet.

Funny thing about Casey's travel plans, they want the date and time and places to be concealed from the public..right. She had an opportunity to ride around with the detectives on the morning of the 16th of July..and lead them on a wild goose chase. If she knows where Caylee is then she just needs to tell someone..no need to run up the states bill on escorts etc
 
Well, if she is allowed it will be interesting to watch her weave a web of lies for JB, send him all over Orlando hunting for Caylee, like she did on 7/16! Oh, I don't work here, in a backwards kind of way, I thought she'd be here, and, Oh, this is Zenaidas mothers sisters friends apt before she moved to Miami, I thought Caylee might be here. Oh,

No kidding! I can't see this Judge allowing this to happen. I have to have faith in our system and him! If he does I'm telling you Orlando will be in an uproar!:eek:
