July 1 Dante say Casey at Millers Al House. He was there with a mutual friend Brandon S. who had come into town. Sean D., Cory S. Daniel and a couple other people. Brandon came from North Carolina and is in the Military. We get together three or four times a year. Sometimes Casey comes with them other times she does not. She was there and she behaved normally to him.

OK, I see a few big discrepancies between Annie's depo and Dante's interview. Dante states KC never brought Caylee over to the Sawgrass apt. Annie states KC brought Caylee over all the time and they would hang out. Dante states KC and Brandon never really dated -- they just hooked up. Annie states they dated and the four of them would socialize at Sawgrass. Anyone else care to compare the two statements and elaborate?

It could well be that Casey brought Caylee over while Dante was at work and he never actually saw her there. That would be one explanantion. On the other score-men and women see things entirely different-they interpret things differently. To Dante, they never dated they just "hooked up" could mean that if Casey happened to show up at their apartment and Brandon happened to be there, then they would wind up having sex, but as far as "social dating" where they made plans and met and went out together, that never happened. This is my theory on these two discrepancies.

That was the way I was interpeting it myself...or if they happened upon Brandon.....I also question if kc knew where and when he would magically appear?????

Dante also state that he went freely to the Anthony home, he was called there to be questioned by George and Cindy but was not forced, coerced, mislead or anything like that by them…KC was not present, but the lawyers were. Have we heard before that the lawyers were present during the meeting of KC friends that CA called to order? I don't think AD mentioned this??

The only coments I can make are personal opinions only, based mostly on gut instinct, less on facts. IMHO, Dante is credible, Annie is not. For example, Dante allowed himself to be confirmed as the real-deal many months ago and allowed US to GRILL HIM. He responded to each and every question from WS's with matter-of-fact answers. He only answered questions that he knew the answer to. He was respectful and cautious with his own personal opinions. He betrayed NOONE. I would take his word over AD's without hesitation.

If Dante's statements seem to contradict AD's...then why not question AD? Just saying...IF we believe KC in her text to Jessie about her friend Annie being able to supply Xanax, then perhaps AD has a self-serving motive...

I agree that KC and Caylee could have been at the apartment with AD during the hours that DS was at work, but I find it hard to believe that it was never discussed in passing between AD and DS. For example, a simple conversational question such as "so, what were you up to today?", answer, "nothing much, just hung out here with KC and Caylee". I originally thought that AD was only answering questions in depth that referred to ZFG (need to know and all that) but now I have a change of heart. Her memory does not appear to be the best either, she was not sure of the apartment number. I can remember my addresses going back 20 years, not the zip code but the house number. It has not been all that long for her. This case makes my head ache.:waitasec:

I am sorry, but how did we confirm it was Dante? Does anyone know? I always highly doubted "Dante" and "Exit13" were who they said they were.

One thing we know for sure, Annie was really Annie. So, I go with what the real Annie said instead of what the invisible "Dante" said.

And in the end that is what LE and courts go by. I don't know Dante but he seemed straight up to me.. what we need to remember is the amount of posts that are no longer part of this thread. Every thread has them, the ones that are deleted because they are against TOS.. for whatever reasons. (could be anything from directly attacking other posters, or wander for awhile, off topic.. or speak of certain people/things or other websites.. ) (I'm not complaining, just sayin'.. lots of posts most of us never get to see- our mods are THAT good!! :blowkiss

IMO there is a lot of Dante's story here that is missing- it seems to be people think we all just opened our arms and welcomed him into our club. as if this were always a welcoming place for him to come. That's not the case..

He was treated poorly by at least one person almost every time he came here, was grilled (IMO) by others. People picked his posts apart, grabbing tiny bits of things he said and inflated them 100 fold and then cropped and edited the words until they fit whatever their agenda was and accused him of lying or changing his story. We have some tough people here, this guy had people budging into his personal life, judging his drinking, his parties, his friends, his life. They'd go to his myspace page and come onto WS and judge him for his pictures. but he came back and he never gossiped, never volunteered his opinion on any of this... never seemed to feel "attacked" when people pointed at Casey as being involved (as her parents do and as Annie seems to throughout this depo). He didn't seem to like it, that she could be this kind of person and that he, her friend was clueless- didn't see it coming. but he seemed willing to accept whatever the truth may turn out to be.

I'm with Ripley007 on this one- I'd believe Dante over Annie. iirc- though he still loved her, she hurt him- she's Casey's bff. I suspect they were both being honest to LE, Dante wouldn't have to know. it's just not all that difficult for me to imagine Annie lying to Dante about being at work when she was actually home, chillin with her girly-fran Casey out by the pool or going out for Taco bell.

yep,i'm with you again ,lost girl and ripley,i don't believe annie at all....come on...she went to spend the night with kc when she was out on bail but claims to not wanting to know what was going on....while at that time caylee was not found and why even go there if you 're afraid to find out what's really going on....imo annie knows a lot..

I need to look at my notes but the only one I remember actually talking to was Dante.

My memory is so poor that I am not going to say right now that I did not communicate with the other two but I don't remember doing so.

As we have stated in the past it is very difficult to authenticate someone 100 percent. The only thing I can do as the owner is talk to or communicate in some way with the person and tell you whether I believe they are who they say they are.

Could the wool be pulled over my eyes? Absolutely. No question.

Here is the problem I face; do I not let anyone who say they are involved in the case post or do I do the best I can so we can try and get good information from insiders.

I have chosen to try and get good information from insiders and to do my best to authenticate.

Things are so busy right now but give me a bit took look over my notes.

I have no reason to doubt he is anyone other than who you varified him to be- One of the reasons I have stayed here since 04 is that you don't allow unverified rumors (other than in the jury room and even then you keep a close eye on what's said). we could go anywhere and read rumors and media sensationalizm. I'm not interested! LOL
