"This was a very large man with very small, round, distinctive ears," said Atlantic County Prosector Ted Housel during an afternoon news conference in Mays Landing.

Housel offered up these bizarre details yesterday because investigators have a genuine mystery on their hands: They have yet to identify the man found wrapped in a rug on Dec. 8 in the woods of Hamilton Township, let alone capture whoever apparently executed him.

Marc David Rubin yelled alot. That according to his 22 year old daughter, Christina. What does one do when dad yells at you? Murder him. Christina Rubin paid her beau $1,000 to shoot her dad in the back of the head as he slept.

Now, what do you do with Pop's body once you murder him and you have to go to class because you're a graduate student in clinical psychology? Buy a chainsaw and try and saw off dad's limbs. Note don't chainsaw anyone who is wearing jean cut-off cause they stick in the chainsaw.

Rubin and her man, Jeffrey Leinhauser dumped Marc Rubin's body in the Pine Barrens of Jersey, and along the way made a bunch of mistakes. A hunter found the body last month. Fingerprints matched up. Now they're under arrest along with one Daniel Dougherty who got himself into trouble tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.

These knuckleheads purchased a carpet to rap dad's body in not far from where I live. All telling lies about how the car got stolen during a drug buy. Oh and the gun that killed Rubin was legally owned by his graduate student daughter who don't take kindly to people yelling at her.

Intelligent girl book wise. Dumb as a box of hair otherwise. I know it's horrible to think, but I was thinking "Why do you have to pay your boyfriend? He loves you so much why wouldn't he just kill him?"

The Pine Barrens are a scarey place. Oh and this poor man had just been fired from his job. I mean and put up with this nonsesense of a kid you're paying all that tuition for? Psych Major and all.
 
Christina Rubin, who graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from Pennsylvania State University last spring, allegedly admitted to the slaying when police questioned her Saturday. She said she paid Leinheiser $1,000 "for what he did," police said, and planned to give an additional $1,000 to Dougherty.

OMFG how does someone graduate with a Bachelors degree in psych and commit murder ?
And yeah why did she have to *pay the love of her life*

And I wonder what they meant re that other 19 year old who *helped* with the Abuse of a Corpse Charge :eek:

"Rubin last logged into her MySpace account on Jan. 7, three days before authorities brought her in for questioning. If Rubin was feeling guilt, it wasn't evident on her Facebook page in the first few weeks after the murder."

So she is the one that logged in more than likely. I wonder how long she has had her mood icon set to aroused?

Glad to read this man was finally identified though sickened by the details that led to his death.

While looking for something else I recalled this case got tried and was looking for the verdicts. I know the "daughter" got some serious time and that Leinheiser got some time, but wasn't sure how much.

Yeah so uh I go to look it up and here he is all smiling on FB with his parents I guess they are. Now I have to look up Mafia Princess.


***I don't know? Looks like his mom, Rita is keeping his wall for him. His FB wall. Maybe. When you go to his mom's there's nada. Nothing. Zilch. Anyway he's employed by The Lord Jesus Christ. So that's good. ***
 
Daniel Dougherty the accomplice who helped move Mr. Rubin's body got 2-23 months for abuse of a corpse.

Christina Rubin got Voluntary Manslaughter and will do 10-20 years. No worries because she's going to be an advocate for battered women when she gets out.

Jeffrey Leinheiser got 3rd Degree Murder, and is doing 15-30 years.

Not for nothing but the place they purchased the carpet they wrapped Mr. Rubin in has been closed down and empty for some time. Just today we passed there and there's a huge Asian like supermarket there. Just weird how coincidence happens.
