Maybe not lighter. I bought some of those very heavy contractor type bags to use in a large trash can and they came on a roll and you have to tear them off.

First, on August 11th--he did not call 911-he called a non-emergency number that was transferred to 911. When the 911 dispatch operator identifies it as being 911 he specifically states he called a non-emergency number. Second, he never says grey bag--never--not once. That part of the pdf is a mistake. Third, he never says he saw anything behind the school--ever. He says he recently read the meter behind the school--but he never says he saw anything behind the school. Fourth, where do you get he was searching around on company time? My utility people have to go into the canyon on my property all of the time. He says in the calls: "We found a dead ...rattlesnack back there"...some time before this. So, he was there at one point as part of his work. We don't know that he was there on non-company related business.
I posted way back in this thread that mention of the grey bag cannot be heard in the calls. However, on both the first and second calls, it is reported on the actual document that he spotted a grey bag. I think there is a spot in each of those calls where the grey bag part was cut out. Why? I have no idea.

Or what side of the street he's talking about (i.e. north, south, east, or west, NOT left side or right side.)???

I mean no personal offense, but if this confused, inarticulate guy is part of some "plot" I gotta meet the mastermind who picked him.

On a more somber, and vaguely uneasy, note: Based on what he said in his phone calls, he had no reason whatsoever to assume there was anything significant about a trash bag lying under a fallen tree, particularly since the area was clearly a dumping ground.
Moreover, unless Caylee's skull somehow levitated enough to float in and out of that closed bag, the "round white" thing he saw couldn't have been more significant than a wadded-up white bag, or a ball, or something like that.
Also, he's knowledgeable enough about snakes, to be able to identify the type of rattler, but the rattler was dead, and yet he was too afraid of a dead snake to go check out the contents of the bag?.
Last and definitely least, wouldn't it have made sense to borrow a pair of binoculars at least by his second call? Doesn't LE have binoculars as standard equipment?
I'm not suggesting the fellow is guilty of anything at all; I'm just moaning about the fact that nothing ever seems to be clear-cut and unassailable.
My son was a meter reader for 10 years. He still works for the utility company but in a different position. I just called him and ask him about this.
He said that when you read meters you /he carried a device called an "itron meter reader". He knew where his route started and where it ended and if he had to come out of the yard onto the street and tell someone exactly where he was - that he could not have done it without stopping and really figuring out where he was. He said that you have the meter reading device and you input and go to the next meter and input and go to the next meter and input etc. And if the meters are behind the house/building he was going down the back of properties - said he would know where to start and the route would take him back to his truck.
Also if the meter guy was new he would have been training on most of the routes, where ever he was needed and it could have taken a few months for him to get back to this route. And when the Hurricane hit the area was really flooded and deep. Also when , on the 3rd day, the officer showed up neither men saw the questionable item
Also there were 1000's of calls and most of them were, for instance, "look under the green fountain by the crooked tree" - so LE had their hands full.

And that area was a large area - not sure how large but at least an acre per LE expanding the area where the remains were found was enlarged to and acre. Was there some standing water? Just because he is a meter reader doesn't mean to me that he should wade thru swampy area (if flooded then) or thru snake infested bushes.. He called and reported that he saw something white that seemed out of place. Something white would stand out in Thick green woods and bushes. Who knows what it was? Could have been trash. He knew he was reading the A's route - I would find everything slightly out of place as something that needed to be checked out.

Oh God, I know. Horrible. You don't have to be ADD and/or old-fashioned to care about spelling and grammar. Oh, and I have an incurable case of ellipseaphilia, but I am recovering from the affliction.

I care to a certain extent about grammar and spelling. But, I do have a 28 year old (very successful) son who is ADD. Without aid/editing, his spelling can sometimes make him look like an "english as a second language" person. However, he rates off the charts in intelligence. So carefull here....
BTW, I'm not ADD or STUPID and I don't recognize the words "ellipseaphilia" or "commaphobia". And I don't even feel inclined to look them up. Nor do I feel "stupid".

Hey, hey, we're not making fun of anyone here. If you publish something on the Internet, which this video was, it's going to be scrutinized. There are spelling and grammar tools on most computers. You said your son does have help or edits his spelling, which is a great thing. I am by no means calling someone unintelligent because of his or her spelling or grammar. Please don't take offense.

We were making words up using phobia and philia. Friday is afraid of commas, and I love ellipses. Again, this was done all in fun. Please don't take such offense.

This meter reader finding Caylee isn't sitting right with me. Based on the descriptions of the area, his finding her would be like finding a needle in a haystack. Had a just happened upon the bag...I might believe it....but him having found her after his calls in august and after several months...well...I'm not buying it. TM said he saw the indentation in the earth of where her body was found...how could there be an indentation after all the rain and the animals? I would think if her body was placed there in August....that bag would have been ripped to shreds and spread all over the place by the elements and the critters....so what would leave an indentation in the earth and how on earth would that meter reader find her anywhere near the oroginal spot he called about in August? If this area was known for lots of trashed being dumped, why would one bag stand out to him...enough for him to call 3 times? Really...what are the chances of him finding this bag on a pee break, after 4 months, anywhere near the same spot as August...the odds of this happening are slim to none....I can't help but believe this is more than just some odd coincidence. Also, some have describe the thick brush, etc of the area....who walks thru that to pee?

I have been saying the same thing! I wonder if he will submit to a polygraph test and give up his fingerprints and DNA? Something is not right about him.

    Not the same bag.
According to the media maybe. I don't recall hearing anything official about what color trash bag Caylee was found in.
