"Our homicide unit is investigating this as a suspicious death, said Major Greg Purden of the sheriffs office. An autopsy has been scheduled. We are looking at our databases for anyone reported missing.
The body was discovered about 1 p.m., Purden said. Divers from the sheriffs office scoured the area later, looking for additional evidence.
The discovery was made in the same area where Shawn Waters, a Merritt Island boater went missing in November. His body was found in early December."
