An Amber Alert has been issued for two girls who authorities say were abducted by their mother.
At about 3:15 p.m. Monday, Danville police responded to the 500 block of Keen Street after a report that two children had been taken from the bus stop, according to a news release from the police department.
The paternal grandmother has custody of the two children and witnessed the mother, 43-year-old Jennifer Masters Westscott, who does not have custody, force the children into a van and drive away, police said.
The van is a 2000 Plymouth with Virginia tag XTY-6374 and is white in color. Police said they have attempted to contact the mother for several hours with no results. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has been contacted and an Amber Alert has been issued.
Pepper M. McCadden, 10, is a black girl who was last seen wearing blue jeans and a multicol-ored shirt. She is Autistic. McCadden is 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 75 pounds. India S. Lovelace, 12, is a black girl who is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 85 pounds. She was last seen wearing black pants, a light green shirt and a red coat.

This is 15 minutes away from where I live. They showed a picture of these two adorable little ones on TV but I can't find it yet online, will keep searching. Hope this woman is not going to hurt them.
