What do Casey Anthony - and other inmates - buy behind bars?
Not true. Here's what inmates really buy in jail . . .

This week, the jail's most famous inmate, Casey Anthony, bought $48.01 worth of items, including Cocoa Butter lotion ($2.93), five chocolate-chip granola bars ($2.93) and a bag of cheese puffs (75 cents). She previously bought a radio, Speed Stick deodorant, Noxzema face wash, and a sketch pad and pencils.

There are limits to what the commissary offers, of course. A jail official recently corrected CNN's Nancy Grace when the host talked about a "shrimp cocktail" Anthony had ordered. The closest thing in stock is a shrimp-flavored instant lunch of ramen noodles, jail spokesman Allen Moore said.

WFTV Legal Analyst Describes Private Investigators' Video
Friday, January 9, 2009 – updated: 7:02 pm EST January 9, 2009

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- WFTV's legal analyst viewed the video showing a private investigator for the Anthony family talking on the phone and digging with a shovel at the scene where Caylee's body was later found. That private investigator was caught on camera, but until Bill Sheaffer had a chance to view it, few details were known about what the video showed.

"He was digging in the soil. He had a probe that he was probing in the soil. He was also picking up items at the crime scene and tossing them aside," WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer told Eyewitness News on Friday (watch full interview).

"As a result of that confrontation, I was arrested based on false allegations that I had kidnapped my former girlfriend," K****said. "I chose to disclose this arrest and the expungement of the records because I had nothing to hide, and (I) have a personal policy of openness and honesty about events in my life."

THANK YOU! Excellent video.

It's clear they were "mucking" about. Kinda hard to claim in court that the "crime scene has been compromised, your honor" when your own PI compromised it. ;) [only my opinion, of course]

Anthony's Planning Funeral and Memorial

"She's finally been able to start working on some plans in regards to the public service,” Conway said. “Music, flowers, possible venues for it.”

While nothing is certain yet, Conway said the Anthony's have made one thing clear; Leonard Padilla, the bounty hunter who was in and out of the case on several occasions, will not be invited or let in.

Miller is trying to stop Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, from getting his records. Miller says, "We have a very small office and we are volunteers and uh we have got over 20,000 copies of paperwork and that is going to be very time consuming and costly." Baez wants Miller to turn over the names of volunteers, maps, tips he received and communication between his searchers and investigators. A judge has yet to grant the request.
