Lawrence County men missing since Friday
Three men remain missing, last seen on I-55
LAWRENCE COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - The search continues for three Lawrence County men who were headed to Jackson Thursday night, but have disappeared.
Twenty two year old Justin Middlebrook, 20-year-old Isaiah Tucker, and 23-year-old Timothy Young are all from Monticello. A dispatcher with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department told WLBT today there have been calls, but so far they have not located the three men.
The sheriff's department plans to use a plane to help aid in the search. Lawrence County investigators say the three friends attended the Co-Lin basketball game in Wesson Thursday, then left for a club in Jackson.
All three were in a tan 2004 Nissan Altima with Lawrence County license plate LWG074.
They were seen around 2:45 a.m. Friday on I-55 near Terry.
If you have any information, call the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department at 601-587-2961.

~snip~ A dispatcher with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department told WLBT today there have been calls, but so far they have not located the three men.~
What does this mean? Why can't they just ping them? It sounds like an accident and LE is having trouble locating the vehicle. They better hurry up and call the cell phone company and get a ping expert out there - why isn't LE talking about this?

UPDATE Search On for Three Lawrence Co. Men Missing
Fox 40 News has learned that all three men had cell phones when they left home and have made no calls since disappearing early Friday. Also none of the three have used gas cards or credit cards since disappearing.
Family members have come forward to say that not calling or contacting family members is very unlike any of the three missing.
Police are still looking for three Lawrence County men that went missing early Friday morning.
Justin Middlebrook, Isaiah Tucker and Timothy Young were last seen on Interstate 55 headed southbound near Terry road. All three men were in a 2004 tan colored Nissan Altima. The license plate to the vehicle is LWG 074.
The three are from Monticello. Police believe they were headed back that way when they went missing. Anyone with information regarding any of the three or the vehicle is encouraged to call the Sheriff's Office at (601) 587-2861.

According to maps, the distance between Jackson and Monticello is about 82 miles or a driving time of an hour and half.
They were last seen traveling southbound on I-55 near Terry Road which if I logged it into the maps correctly is also called Old Highway 51 which is right outside of Jackson (I am not familiar with what is considered a part of Jackson subburbs).
So they went to Jackson and never got much outside of Jackson according to a witness.
I don't see where Terry Road has a ramp that leads onto or off to I-55, maybe someone else can find one.
These young men must have exited I-55 somewhere from Terry Road to Monticello.

I really felt like that they would be found. I hate to hear this. I feel for the family and my prayers are with them.

Copiah County Coroner Ellis Stuart said the three bodies found in a small body of water in Copiah County today are those of three men who had been missing from Lawrence County.
Timothy Young, 23; Justin Rashad Middlebrook, 22; and Isaiah Rashad Tucker, 20, had been missing since early Friday.
Stuart said authorities found identification belonging to each of the men and that family members at the scene positively identified them.
