ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Eyewitness News learned Casey Anthony may have been slipped some contraband in the suit she wore to court for Friday's hearing. Jail officials told Eyewitness News they discovered a "Caylee" bracelet stashed in the clothes Jose Baez dropped off this week.

Now he's sneaking jewelry into the socks he drops off at the jail for her?! :furious:
 
Dang...he should be disbarred for this. Someone needs to turn his butt in. I think b4 the hearing started and we heard her ask something of Baez and he said my wife....I'm guessing his wife picked out her suit.

This is bs though. He knows better and should be punished. Period.

Why not just go through appropriate channels if he wants her to have a "Caylee" bracelet?? Not that she'd wear it. But WHY risk getting in trouble with the jail? Or the news story that will inevitably be written about it? Didn't the hugging fiasco teach him ANYTHING??
 
I am totally gobsmacked. This man evidently does not pay attention to the Code of Ethics / Professional Behavior expected of attorneys. Is there no end? This is really so inappropriate, on so many levels.
 
And he snuck it into a pair of SOCKS he brought for her! ??? An obvious attempt to get it past the security check for contraband. So obviously he thought he could "get one over" on the jail staff.....ha! well, joke's on him....once AGAIN.
 
I think the scarier thing here everyone - is this- he didn't think they would check the clothes??? HELLO??? He sure doesn't appear to be to bright. I mean come on---he didn't have a clue??? Whoa....scary.

Yea he will he will blame everyone but himself like he's been doing. I hope someone high up sees this. I thought the pen and giggling incident was bad it but this. Something is not right.
 
I just read that too! Man JB thinks he is so above the law! He needs to concentrate more on preparing this case instead of filing stupid motions, sneaking this to KC, etc.
 
I thought I hear Linda asked Casey if the clothes were ok or something to do with her clothes. So I guess Cindy did not give the clothes to JB. Cause I could see Cindy putting that braclet in the socks. Also JB should know better. come on!!!
 
What was he saying about the media making her a circus or something?? Seems like he is doing a good job of making that prediction come true.

Why or why is he doing this to his client. You can't do stuff like this and expect it not to be reported. Cause it's freaking unbelievable that a lawyer would be this stupid with any of his/her clients. Much less a high profile one.

I still say that the comments to her about her being boss, was about the fact that she has the power and right to fire JB. SHE is in charge of wither he works for her or not. If I was her parents, even if she was guilty, I would want her to have a fair trial with a REAL lawyer.
 
Wow...I'd stay away from the HEART imagery if I was JB.
