Caylee Anthony's memorial service will be Tuesday

Defense claims Casey Anthony case mirrors TV show

Casey Anthony's defense attorneys appeared this morning on NBC's Today Show and compared their client with the lead character from the popular 1960s TV show, The Fugitive.

In that television show, actor David Janssen plays Dr. Richard Kimble. He blames a one-armed man for the murder of his wife, but no one believes him and he is convicted in her death. Kimble runs from the law, but is vindicated in the end.

"The person who seemed to be so guilt that the locals have made this person so guilty," attorney Linda Kenney Baden told Today Show host Meredith Vieora. "He was so hated and he ran from the law and it turns out he was innocent. In this case, we believe our client [Anthony] is innocent."

George and Cindy Anthony plan to be at a public memorial service for their granddaughter, Caylee, their attorney said Friday afternoon. Attorney Brad Conway said security will be tight so that no one disrupts the service, which is planned for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Orlando on John Young Parkway. Hundreds if not thousands of people are expected to gather to pay their respects to the toddler. The family finalized plans Thursday for a memorial service for Caylee and everyone is welcome.

An attorney for the grandparents of Caylee Marie Anthony just said people must remain calm during next week's funeral for the slain toddler.
"She deserves dignity and respect and she's going to get it,'' said attorney Brad Conway, who represents George and Cindy Anthony. Conway is making his comments during a news conference near the Orange County courthouse. Check back for updates.

WESH-Channel 2: Coverage starts at 10 a.m. on the station and on WESH.com. The plan is to carry the memorial service in its entirety.
WKMG-Channel 6: Coverage starts at 9 a.m. on the station and on ClickOrlando.com. Jacqueline London will anchor. The coverage will include reporting and commentary by Tony Pipitone, Jessica D'Onofrio, Mike DeForest, Louis Bolden and Adam Longo.
WFTV-Channel 9: Will cover the service on TV and on WFTV.com.
WOFL-Channel 35: Coverage starts at 10 a.m. on TV and on MyFoxOrlando.com.

Kasen says his client described a 24 year old with no children. The Zenaida suing is in her 30's and has several kids. Kasen filed three motions in her civil court on Casey's behalf. A motion to dismiss with prejudice; That asks the judge to drop the suit, and would not allow it to be re-filed. The second motion, is a motion for sanctions. Kasen wants Zenaida's attorney Keith Mitnik of the Morgan and Morgan to be penalized by the courts for fling what he claims to be a frivolous lawsuit. On top of that Kasen filed a motion for a ?57.105?. That asks that the plaintiff and her attorney pay for his legal fees.

The motions should be logged into record at the courthouse early next week. Messages for Gonzalez's attorney were not returned.
