Julian Rene Kirchoff, abducted/missing from Bisbee, Az, 2/08/2007.
He was reportedly seen in a physical altercation with up to seven people.
This occured at Esperanza Apts in Naco, Az., in the parking lot.
His car, a 1993 gold Nissan Maxima, hit another car in the parking lot
about 11:30p.m. The car sped away.

There was an extensive search conducted.
No sign of Julian K or the 1993 gold Nissan has ever been found.
Several men were questioned and released.

Julian K, 22 years old and goes by the nickname of
'El Guerito.' Julian has a 2 yr old son.

From email talks with family of Julian Kirchoff:
Suspects in the abduction, possible murder, were questioned by
local law enforcement, but let go, and the suspects returned to Mexico.
LE sent information to Naco, Sonora police department.
The police chief in Naco, Sonora resigned shortly after that, stating
his life and his family lives were in danger.
Family of Julian K say that Naco, Sonora police dept has had several
police chiefs in last two years.
This seems to be true in many border towns with Mexico and also in Mexico intself.

Police say witnesses are reluctant to come forward. They fear retaliation.

Police agencies in the search, included, the Cochise County Border Alliance Group, the DEA and Mexican authorities.


Four suspects identified, questioned.
One suspect in Naco, AZ, apartment searched, some items seized.

Naco, AZ, and Bisbee, AZ are about 5 miles from the Mexican border.
Naco, MEXICO police chief says that Julian K was brought into their town.

In another news article, Naco, MEXICO police chief resigned shortly after this incident, he cited personal safety issues.
