If everything Casey said was true... who all would have to be lying/conspiring?

Clearly it isn't true. CLEARLY.

But since the defense doesn't seem to be changing their story, i'm curious as to who all would have to be lying to make it so that Casey wasn't.

I'll start...

"Zachary" 's dad -- about having a son.
Universal - about her employment there.
Sawgrass - about the apartment being vacant.

can you amend your title to reflect the topic please? thank s :)

Ya know, I was just thinking about this very same thing this morning. If Casey was purposefully silent to protect her daughter and family, why hasn't she come out now and said who she believes took her daughter? Doesn't she want the "real"
kidnapper(s) to be punished for this heinous crime? Even if somehow she was partially responsible for the loss of her child, wouldn't she want it to be known there were others involved in poor Caylee's death? The TRUTH could set her free.

Exactly.... I think that's going to be really hard for her at court. She's left herself pretty much no window of doubt, because the only story she'll tell is so obviously untrue.

Who would have to be lying??

The entire state of Florida.

Perhaps if we all slipped down the rabbit hole or ended up in an alternative universe, lies would become truth. Propagandists do it all the time. Say something often enough.....

Zenaida's two roommates, although since they are also fictional, I guess they couldn't really lie...

They certainly aren't forthcoming. lol.

Actually, the list would be redundant because all we would be doing is listing everything/everyone we know about this case and say they were lying or conspiring.Everything that Casey said was a lie. Good luck to the defense team, they have a hard job ahead of them,if they want to try to make Caseys' story work.

...and not even consistent with what her own attorney and parents have said.

She has already told JB the "truth". He will present it brilliantly at the trial in a true"Perry Mason moment". Zanny, who has already been located and subpoenaed, is seated in the courtroom. JB spins around, points his finger at her and says, "And, here is the real killer!" Zanny breaks down and confesses everything. Everyone who doubted KC's innocence will write letters of apology and she will publish them in a book, making millions...all donated to finding missing children. Tragically, while shopping at Target for lingerie and cheezy-poofs, she will slip on a cherry, hit her head and fall into a coma where she will stay until CA pulls the plug a day later.

I agree that's why I don't think they are going to stick with her story. I think theire defense is simply going to be punching holes in the prosecution's evidence.

The girl is mentally ill. No one with sound mind can murder their child spinning as many lies as she has told and "believe" she will get away with. Her lies may be true to her and quite clearly she has serious mental problems. There is no truth. The truth is what she has "told". She sees no difference.

I'm not even going to play that game.

'Scuse me, but I need to get to my job at Universal after I get a few tattoos on my butt.

LMAO! Don't forget to stop by Fusion. You never know...Zanny may be there!

Sadly, though I agree she has some major issues, she does know the difference.

John Allen, Yuri, Nick Savage, and all other Law Enforcement officials involved in the investigation, including the FBI; Scientists at the Body Farm; FBI forensics specialists at Quantico. And that's just for a start.

Truth, Lies and Self-Deception

By Dr. Stephen A. Diamond, Ph.D. on November 30, 2008 - 8:01pm in Evil Deeds
Folie a deux is an idiomatic French expression meaning "craziness of two." This fascinating syndrome is referred to diagnostically in the American Psychiatric Association's DSM-IV-TR as Shared Psychotic Disorder, one of several types of psychosis. How common is this condition, what causes it, and what can it teach us about the nature and perils of self-deception?
