Haleigh's Family Refuses To Return Home
"Haleigh filled that house with laughter," Neves said. She said her son would never live in the home again.
"It's where Haleigh lives. He cannot go in there and live without Haleigh -- her pictures are all over, all of her toys are there and all of the memories. He can't do it. I don’t even want to go in there," Neves said.

New Pictures and Stories About Little Haleigh
Updated: 2/28/2009 12:07:26 AM
<snipped>
Friday, Haleigh's family brought out more photographs of the little girl for the media.
And every photograph tells a story.
Like the one of Haleigh as a flower girl in her aunt's wedding in December.
The strawberry blond child in a royal blue dress is bent over, picking up the flower petals.
Haleigh's aunt, Crystal Cummings said, "As my daughter and Haleigh were dropping the flowers, Haleigh would pick the petals up! She thought she needed to pick them up. My daughter said 'No. You have to drop them.' It was really cute."
Neves said Misty Croslin, Haleigh's father's girlfriend dressed Haleigh that day.
Neves laughed and said, "Unfortunately Misty let her pick what she wanted to wear which meant there were 50 outfits on the floor every day!"
The laughter heard surrounding these stories Friday afternoon from Haleigh's family is rare. Much of the past two weeks has been filled with tears and worry over the missing little girl.

Searching for Haleigh: K-9s fail to find missing girl
February 28, 2009
<snipped>
SATSUMA, Florida - Cadaver dogs found no trace of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings on Friday, and her family members continued to plead for the little girl's safe return.
Thursday evening, three dogs brought attention to a dumpster near the Satsuma home from which Haleigh disappeared early this month, but after a thorough search, investigators said it contained no human remains.
Haleigh's grandmother, Teresa Neves, said her family had expected the search to turn up nothing because they think Haleigh is alive but that it was a relief nonetheless to know that investigators found nothing in the dumpster.
"There's always that little thing that scares you to death. To know that she's not there is a relief," Neves said Friday. "Somebody has her, and I pray to God they release her."
