TN - Another car explosion, Memphis, TN
Does this have anything to do with the explosion of Dr. Pierce's car? We don't have enough information on the victim, or whose car it was, however, if it IS the same person, Tennessians may have a serial bomber in their midst.
I wouldn't be surprised, as I don't believe Dr. Pierce's bombing had anything to do with his personal or professional life.

Wow! And how weird that the other case is so quiet.

The above article said:
"Janice Hicks identified the victim as her daughter-in-law, Monique Pruitt, 28, of Memphis. Hicks said police are detaining her son, Calvin Hicks Jr., in connection with the case."
I wonder if it was a domestic or LE is worried about creating a public scare if a serial bomber is the case. If it is a serial bomber, it seems his two targets are
A. a doctor
B. across from a doctor's office
The only way to tell if this case is related to the other is when FBI can compare the components of each of the bombs. The way the bomb is made is the signature of the bomber. Even if different "triggers" were used, components may be similair in chemical nature. Serial bombers are usually cowards, they avoid confrontation. Their means of killing or hurting is through the bombs.
Also, this incident occured in a parking lot across from a podiatrist's office. I wonder if it was the podiatrist's parking lot.
In the article it was stated a witness said that medical personal didn't seem to be in a rush to remove the victim from the scene, they were probably waiting on LE to get there. In any bombing case, FBI would be brought in.
Seems the explosion was triggered when the victim opened her car door.

She doesn't seem to be hurt as badly as she could have been, which is a good thing. I understand about medical personnel not rushing to attend to her. Unfortunately, since 9/11, "first responders" have to be very careful.
Interesting that they are already detaining the husband. Perhaps this is a case of domestic assault and not a serial bomber. Good for Memphis, but dang.....how many people are making bombs?
