A $20,000 reward is offered in the case of a woman who disappeared in 1992.
Seventeen years ago, a building housed a bar called Jocko's, the last place credible witnesses report seeing 28-year-old Beth Veloz alive.
Veloz left the bar before midnight with three men July 26, 1992. The men told police they dropped her off a short time later. No one has seen her since.
"You don't go out with a group and disappear...Somebody knows something," said Irene Veloz, mother.
"We're assuming she met with foul play, but we certainly don't know that for a fact and we're trying to bring some closure to the family," said Ross Rice, FBI spokesperson.
That's why the FBI has gotten involved in the case, following up on the extensive Chicago Police investigation which had run dry. Agents are offering a $20,000 reward.
Veloz left three young children behind, all in their 20's now.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the FBI at 312-421-6700.
