The New York Post Daily Blotter adds (BBM):

Keiana Monroe, 14, was last seen on Saturday at a building on East 156th Street at Courtlandt Avenue, hanging out with some friends.

The teen, who has no history of running away, was wearing a white jacket, white T-shirt, gray pants and black sneakers.

She is described as 5-foot-2 and 175 pounds.

What type of friends? How well did she know them? How often did she hang out with them? Did the friends see her leave their company?

But more importantly, how did she get there?

According to the article quoted in the first post, "Monroe lives on Longfellow Avenue." Although no exact address is given, Longfellow Avenue is about 2-3 miles away from where she was last seen.

Would her parents have allowed their 14-year-old to walk or take the bus to the South Bronx, which even to this day is not the best or safest neighborhood in the Bronx. So did someone drive her? Would that same person come back to pick her up?

Or did she call a "gypsy cab" from off the street? Those can be super shady, but they're a popular choice, especially in less affluent neighborhoods back then, because they're fast, and crosstown (east-west) transportation in NYC isn't good. Most of the subway, which is faster, runs vertical (north-south), leaving slower buses as the main way to get crosstown. In addition, buses run less frequently on weekends, and Keiana disappeared on a Saturday.
