New Witnesses Added In Case Against Casey

In the case against Casey Anthony prosecutors have added dozens of new witnesses to a list of people who could be called to testify at Casey's murder trial.
Many of those witnesses are FBI investigators who processed the crime scene after the discovery of Caylee's remains.

Also Wednesday, lawyers for Zenaida Gonzalez will question the Anthony family's two private investigators in the civil case against Casey Anthony.

for the hearing on whether or not there is a conflict re: Book & Movie deals, and so forth.

A hearing is set for Wednesday morning to determine whether Casey Anthony will have to reveal how she is paying for her defense.

Orange Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland will hear arguments from prosecutors on why Casey Anthony needs to disclose the information. They contend the 23-year-old could only afford her high-powered legal team by selling photos or videotapes relating to the story of the disappearance and death of her daughter, Caylee Marie.

Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland will hear a motion from the state at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in courtroom 23 in the county courthouse in Orlando. WESH.com is planning to stream the hearing live.
The hearing is on a motion to determine whether Anthony has a conflict of interest. Prosecutors want to know if her main defense attorney, Jose Baez, has been selling the story of Casey and Caylee Anthony.

Also on Tuesday, the state released a list of about 250 names of potential witnesses in the case. The list is an updated version of one that was released earlier by prosecutors.

Cindy Anthony remained silent as her husband weighed in on the controversy surrounding what to do with the land along Suburban Drive. It's home to the Caylee memorial and currently up for sale.
"This is the kind of tribute I would rather see, not down at the end of the street. I think that's great, don't get me wrong," George Anthony said
The Anthonys also said they would like to see a park where children can play as the permanent memorial to Caylee.

Racy party photos of Casey Anthony surface

Racy photos of a scantily-clad Casey Anthony surfaced online today -- and she appears to be kissing a woman at a costume party.

RadarOnline.com states the exclusive photos are from a Halloween party in 2006. Anthony is dressed as a "sexy casino waitress" in about a dozen pics.
RadarOnline is a joint venture between two companies, including American Media Inc., which owns the National Enquirer and Star magazine.

A Sentinel reporter e-mailed the company to see if it paid for the Anthony photos, but has not received a response.

Casey Anthony's family says questions over how she's paying for her defense have been a distraction to her case, WESH-Channel 2 reported this afternoon.

"The defense needs to get on with defending their client," said Brad Conway, attorney for Anthony's parents. The money issue "takes away from everything that really needs to be done in order to defend her," he told WESH's Bob Kealing.

A hearing at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday will examine the funding controversy. Casey Anthony is charged with the first-degree murder of her daughter, Caylee. Prosecutors fear that if Jose Baez, Casey Anthony's attorney, has a conflict of interest on the money issue, that problem could pave the way for an appeal.
