PUEBLO, Colo. -- A 64-year-old neighbor has been arrested in the slaying of a Pueblo teen whose body was found in a field near her home, police said.
Paul Wayne Stark of Pueblo was arrested Monday on suspicion of first-degree murder in the death of 14-year-old Ashley Patterson, The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office said. He is in jail on $1 million bond.
An autopsy revealed that Patterson had been strangled.
