CA - Police Kill Woman With Toddler in Car During Pursuit
Buena Park police Sgt. Bill Kohanek said the pursuit began just after 12:30AM Friday, when Buena Park officers tried to pull over a 1996 Toyota sedan near Stanton and Orangethorpe Avenues on a traffic code violation.
The driver, Susie Kim, refused to stop, triggering a chase through Buena Park, Anaheim, Fullerton, Tustin and Santa Ana, he said.
At times, speeds reached 110 miles per hour.
Kohanek said at some point during the chase, the woman rammed her car into Buena Park patrol units.Say what you mean, mean what you say, but don't say it mean.
We are all just trying to make sense of an unimaginable crime.

This is very very sad. What kind of woman would do that with her baby in the backseat? I am just glad that the baby was not harmed.Happy New Years

I read this earlier but didn't comment. I just can't wrap my brain around it. There are many questions that I hope are answered. I can't fathom this woman's actions with her child in the car, who knows what she was thinking-but I'm also curious as to why she was killed. I'm not trying to defend her, just wondering exactly what she did to provoke gunfire. I've never heard of someone being shot for putting on a chase so I am just curious about what went wrong. Maybe the lady was trying to be killed-death by cop type of thing? You won't cry for my absence, I know -
You forgot me long ago. Am I that unimportant...?
Am I so insignificant...? Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?
