Unidentified White / Hispanic Male
Vital Statistics
The skeletal remains of this victim were located in a remote area in Napa County, California.
A skull with a bullet hole, a foot still inside a weather-beaten sock, and several other bones and fragments * were discovered by landowners who were surveying their property lines on Mount Veeder in 1997.
The bullet hole in the right temple of the skull, which was made by a .22-caliber Ruger handgun. Authorities are not sure if it was self inflicted or a homicide. He most likely was not a transient. The anthropologist determined the man may have been a horse rider after examining the configuration of the pelvic bones.

James Ezra Robinson
March 6, 1982 from Washoe Valley, Nevada.
Classification: Endangered Missing
Vital Statistics Date Of Birth: March 24, 1943
Age at Time of Disappearance: 38 years old
Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 6'1; 210 lbs
Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair; hazel eyes.
Circumstances of Disappearance
Robinson disappeared from Winters Creek Equestrial Ranch in Washoe Valley, Nevada in 1982 along with his wife, Nancy Robinson. The ranch was located on southbound US Highway 395 in Washoe Valley. The couple had been employed at the ranch for several months prior to their disappearances. Their disappearances were discovered during the morning of March 8. A construction worker who had been employed on the ranch arrived to find a broken window and blood on the front steps of the ranch's living quarters. Large pools of blood were discovered inside the Robinsons' residence, along with signs of a struggle. The Robinsons' truck was discovered abandoned with a flat tire on Highway 50, later in the day. Blood was found inside the vehicle as well. Tests conducted in 1982 were unable to determine the blood type.
The main house at the ranch burned down three months before the couple vanished. They disappeared right before they were scheduled to take polygraph tests to determine if they were involved. Arson is the suspected cause of the blaze. No one has been charged with the fire or the couple's disappearances.
There has not been any activity on Social Security numbers for either employment or tax filing on either of them.
My Note: Perhaps a murder-suicide situation? Ranch is only 120 miles from where UID was found.

- Personal Effects: A hand-made heavy leather backpack, unknown manufacturer, filled with personal items, which was in pretty good shape considering the time lapse and the weather. The other personal items were untraceable.
- Other: Budweiser beer cans. that particular brand of Bud didnt come out on the grocery shelves until after 1980. A Ruger Bearcat .22 cal. revolver. The gun was traced to the Phoenix, Arizona area. It was rusted shut and the serial number was messed up.
- AKA: Law Enforcement calls him "The MT Veeder Man"
- Dentals: He had gold fillings in six of his teeth. This extensive, expensive dental work.
This type of dental work makes them believe the man was affluent or in the military. No lower jaw was recovered but dental charts are available on the upper teeth.
