MD - Valicia Demery, 19, pregnant, murdered, Forestville, 10 May 2009
FORESTVILLE, Md. — Prince George's County police say a woman's body has been discovered on a high school running track.
Cpl. Clinton Copeland says a citizen called police at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday to report the body at Forestville Military Academy. He says the body was found on the outer portion of the track circling the school's football field.
Copeland says the woman had trauma to her upper body.
He says authorities did not find any identification on her or near her.
Police are investigating.

FORESTVILLE, Md. - The body of a female has been discovered near the football field of Forestville Military Academy, Prince George's County police say.
Police have not been able to identify the victim and need your help. The victim is described as a black female 20 to 30 years old. She is further described as standing 5 foot 1 to 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighing 110-115 pounds. She had a distinctive scorpion-type tattoo on the back of her neck, and short black hair with gold or blond highlights. She was wearing a turquoise sun dress and her toenails were painted orange.
Anyone recognizing the description of the victim please call the Prince George 's County Police Department.
The discover was made by a citizen who was using the school track around 6 a.m. Sunday. The school is located in the 7000 block of Beltz Drive in Forestville.

Bernard Bellamy, 20, of the 700 block of Quade Street in Oxon Hill was arrested Monday morning, a day after Valicia Andrea Demery, 19, of the 2000 block of Addison Road in District Heights was found dead with bodily trauma at about 6:30 a.m. by a resident who was jogging on the school's track, said Prince George's County Police Department spokesman Cpl. Clinton Copeland.

Oh My!! He ran over her with a vehicle on Mothers Day?!!? Because she was pregnant? This is just tragic! My sympathies and prayers for Valicias family and friends, they lost two precious members!

An Oxon Hill man has been sentenced to 30 years in jail for killing his pregnant girlfriend, whom he ran over with a car and left to die on the Forestville Military Academy's campus in May 2009.
Bernard Bellamy Jr., 21, faced a first-degree murder charge for the slaying of Valicia Andrea Demery, 19, of District Heights. He pleaded guilty Friday to a lesser charge of second-degree murder, as part of a plea agreement.
