"DOVER, N.H. (AP) — A Dover man who pleaded guilty to raping a 15-year-old girl is expected to be sentenced Tuesday.

Forty-eight-year-old Gregory Graham abruptly pleaded guilty to eight charges in March 2008 one day into his trial in Strafford County Superior Court. His lawyer initially called the victim a "teenage drama queen" but later said her testimony helped his client realize he had to take responsibility for his actions."

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

It's about freaking time.

What a attorney! Aren't all teenage girls drama queens. Ones who are raped wouldn't still be able to act like silly drama queens. I don't believe her or the rapist.

Graham's sentencing:

Former Pease firefighter and convicted rapist Gregory Graham was sentenced Tuesday to 10 to 20 years in state prison for the March 2008 rape of a 15-year-old girl, a punishment slightly greater than what the state recommended.

Graham's sentencing came on the victim's 17th birthday... she said she was marking this birthday as the day she moved on with her life and asked the judge to sentence Graham to 12 years in prison, so her little sister could grow up without the fear of Graham walking free.

She also expressed anger over the fact she had to testify during the trial, only to have Graham plead guilty to all charges a day later.
