    http://www.wspa.com/spa/news/local/a...earance/17867/

A Simpsonville woman…still missing as her family waits word on her fate.

Julia Ann Vess was last seen at her home on Winding River Lane in Simpsonville Sunday.

Deputies and her family are growing more concerned by the hour.

She hasn’t turned on her cell phone, hasn’t contacted anyone, and didn’t show up for work monday.

Her husband Larry says all of that is not normal.

“She’s never been gone this long… (Reporter: What do you think happened to her?) I don’t know, don’t know,“

The 48 year old’s car is a 2004 Silver Toyota Corolla (SC Tag AGN-309)

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME or the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office at 271-5210.

Vess said he last saw his wife of 20 years right before he went to play golf Sunday morning at about 7 a.m.

When he returned to the home at about 1 p.m., she was gone.

He said they had a minor argument Saturday night, and he knows people usually suspect the spouse when something like this happens.

"I know the first thing is to suspect the husband, you can suspect me all you want, give it your best shot cause I'm an open book to you," he said.

Neighbors said that they saw Julia Vess planting flowers on Sunday afternoon.

I have read about the new lead- I wonder what it could be.

I emailed the son asking whether there were any volunteer searches taking place. He wrote back that he would contact me in a few weeks when he was in town and there would be volunteer searches then.

Missing Woman's Husband Organizes Search Team

The day after being cleared as a suspect, the husband of a missing woman led the search for her on Saturday.
It's been two weeks since 48-year-old Julia Vess disappeared. On Friday, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office cleared her husband, Larry, as a suspect.
Deputies said they've exhausted all leads in the case.
Saturday morning, Larry Vess led a search across the Upstate. They're looking everywhere.

    Breaking News

The coroner has been at the Vess home, but has not publicly confirmed the identity of the body found near Julia Vess's car. The news here is reporting that LE had said last week that she might have wanted to harm herself.
There was no visible damage to her car when the news showed it leaving on a flatbed truck.
