Villagers attack Taliban
Power to the people....

I would say "workers of the world unite!" but it that wouldn't really make any sense. So, I shall echo the above - "Power to the People!"'The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated'

Thanks for commenting guys-I actually think that this is more than extraordinary...this regime/religion has oppressed (granted, a Western view) this country for a long time. Clearly, someone is getting sick of it.

The villagers are holding their own...
So far they have killed at least 14 militants...

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (KJV)
10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12 For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord. I know I have said it before but people rising up in the face of oppression and taking a stand really gets me everytime.
The West tends to have a pretty distorted view of what is going on the Middle East and what our role in all of this has been. This is not the first time we have propped up an oppressive regime to control the people and quell socialist uprisings to further our own capitalistic interests just to watch it blow up later in our face - literally.'The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated'

They drove the Taliban out of the SWAT valley, for now. Unfortunately the Taliban strikes back with more terrorist acts, such as the bombing of the hotel, one that many dignataries and media representatives from around the world stay at.
It's so sad to see photos of children who are caught in the middle of all this. Unfortunately some Pakistanis blame America for the uptick in terrorists attacks and the deaths of their loved ones, as we have pushed them to be more aggressive against the Taliban.

Yeah, America gets blamed for everything. What else is new.
Terrorists are terrorists. They don't need an excuse to destroy and commit mayhem. They want power over people, including how they think, and who they blame for desolation. moo
ETA; they should blame themselves for letting the Taliban come into their area, and hiding them. The US could have taken them out long ago. They were going to have to fight them sooner or later. They chose later. Don't blame the US for being hospitable to ****s. They were bound to turn on you, duh.
mooMy Opinion Only..MOO
