Social Groups- what happened??

For the past three days I and others in one of the social groups cannot access that portion of WS, when we try we get the message that we are not authorized to view it. An email was sent to notify of the problem previously.
Some response, please?
 
We are working on the announcement that will answer your questions. It should be up by the end of the day.

Tricia, sorry but I have not seen any announcement.
This is an important feature for a lot of us. Any idea when it will be restored? Thanks.
 
My group (Steppin out) went AWOL... no one posted for months... so I sort of gave up on it...
 
What are "social groups" on here? I've never heard of it before and i've been a member for years. Sometimes i don't catch everything, and there is still a lot of this site to explore..
Update: i found the answer to my question, so please disregard! =)
