Child Wise Help & Advice
One of Child Wise’s central roles is to provide immediate information, support, counselling and advice to help people deal with concerns relating to child sexual abuse and exploitation. Individuals who are in contact with children often aren’t sure how to identify indicators of abuse, or who to turn to for help. The Child Wise National Child Abuse Prevention Program consists of direct support, counselling, education, advocacy, participatory training, capacity building and research on child abuse issues in Australia.
