    Bank Robberies in Gulf Breeze

Rick has posted 2 blogs about bank robberies in GB, that he is insinuating (though not actually stating) may have been committed by Jr.

    Who does this sound like?
Last November, a man walked into Pen Air/Members First Credit Union in the Live Oak Village Shopping Center, Gulf Breeze. He is described as a white male in a black hood sweatshirt and wearing blue jeans, black or brown shoes, black gloves and carrying a gun. He looks to be in his late 20s to early 30s around 58 and weighing about 180 lbs. His face was covered so that just his eyes were showing.

I remember both of these robberies well. I think the likelihood that Gonzalez (Poff) Jr was involved is very real. The description of the suspect and the way both crimes were carried out sounds just like him. A local that was very familiar with the layout of GB had to of committed both robberies.

In my opinion, I doubt very much the Billings' murder was his first 'big' crime. I have a feeling he was a career criminal. He doesn't strike me as the type to rob a convenience store for some quick petty cash. He strikes me as the type that would spend weeks meticulously planning and obsessing over every detail of a 'big payday' crime, such a bank robberies.

Maybe someone can find out all the vehicles that have been registered to him in the past few years to see if one fits the Toyota or Honda description in the police report.
